The Watts Healthy Farmers’ Market, in collaboration with Kaiser Permanente, serves a very diverse customer base and continues to grow in both attendance and reputation as a market that is outstanding in the quality of the fresh food that is offered every Saturday.
Located in Ted Watkins Park, the Market hosts approximately 7-10 local farmers as well as a variety of fresh food purveyors. The Watts Healthy Farmers’ Market has always been a leader in helping educate the neighborhood and community about healthy cooking and wise food choices. Every week, healthy cooking courses are held-onsite as a part of the Pompea Smith Good Cooking/ Buena Cocina Nutrition Education Program.
At the market, you can use your EBT money and WIC checks. Additionally, we offer market match where your $8 or $10 fruit and vegetable checks and EBT money is doubled up to $10 per day. Stop by the information booth to receive your market match!
The Watts Healthy Farmers’ Market is held every Saturday, rain or shine, from 10am-2pm, and is located in Ted Watkins Park located at 103rd and Central Avenue in Watts.
